Craig - there is a Byzantine-ish life size wooden carving hanging in an alcove of the Metropolitan Museum on the first floor. I have photographed it many times but this is my best rendition. I never stopped to properly read about the date etc. but finally had the idea to photograph it from behind against the Museum's lights.
