Barrett's right as usual! I told you the other day that all I want is 3 lenses and 3 MPs and then I'd be set for life. The fact that the 3 lens are all fast, aspherical and made by Leica, means I'm thinking of forking over enough cash to buy a nice car, but that's my neurosis...
Barrett is generally right. I too am just trying to get the three lenses I desire (but when you think back over all the money spent - there should be some divine guidance to instruct and look out for us over the years - especially in the beginning when all you want to do is experiment with equipment.
And I guess the idea of getting it before the Leica rangefinder crew goes out of business makes sense as well. As you said, once they become collectors items - the working photographer is going to be in hot water.
