Here's the shot as it came out of the 4990 with vuescan, with only resizing for the web. Above is the finished version for the web. It may seem extreme, but if you pick up Ansel Adams' The Making of 40 Photographs you will see similar examples.

Dusk. Not photoshopped. On a tripod. Reflection in window is 2nd avenue. The facade of the building was being redone (mesh etc.)
Guys, I think you should e-mail each other directly about the HP printer saga. What d'ya think? OR, start a topic in the forum. That would really be best.
Michael, Epson 4990 for medium and large format negatives. I'm using VueScan. I lost most everybody's e-mail when I switched pc's. e-mail me and I'll go through the settings with VueScan.
