Trees, Yosemite

I hate to ruin the illusion but this is not some morning mist, but smoke from a small fire at Yosemite. It was a weird week there. Flooding, and this campfire that got out of hand. I got very excited and setup the TLR on the tripod for this before someone yelled at me to get out of the way. Seems like wherever I go someone is always yelling at me to get out of the way. This was done with the dreaded Delta 400 (my arch enemy as far as film goes).

- the film itself was / is thinner than other films;
- unstable over the years (at least the early version)
- didn't like the grain structure
- oh, did I say - unstable over the years. Turned purple. I guess no one knows if current film turns purple because it takes a few years to happen.

we got something in common here -
the tonality and contrast response of
Delta is soo going under my skin...

and then some more: Delta 3200 -
grainy as hell, I haven't been able to
find one developer that makes this
film work for me.
