Dave, This images captures a sense of mystery, adventure, and beauty in the composition and form. It's like a vortex into another dimension. I love the tonal range as it transforms from light to dark in the tunnel and the fact the ceiling is not exactly perpindicular to you. It adds dynamics to the picture. It's a great image. You've captured it extremely well!

alan, that's what i like about the image. there's also an added bonus that you can't see in the web version (i don't think)- the couple on the bench to the left embracing.

but it goes to prove one of my photographic theories: if you photograph the same thing over and over, you will eventually find what you were looking for. this goes with the theory of a million monkeys typing in a room for a million years eventually writing hamlet - or something like that :)

Excellent, Dave - I love the fact that you exposed & "developed" this so well that even at the darkest top part of the tunnel/photo- I can still see the pattern in the shadow detail.

Best regards,
