Since returning from planet megapixel, it's been tri-x. I really love both these films in DD-X.
On another note: was just taking a look at the Mamiya 645 II on eBay. Gadzooks you can pick that kit up for a song. I remember renting one for a weekend a while back and liking it very much; but if I ever did go back to MF I would very much want a MF film scanner rather than the 4990 so that's where the extra cost comes in.
you're seriously suffering from photographers disease :D I just unloaded some stuff on ebay that I don't use...
you're right - MF without a serious scanner doesn't make sense at all. For some reason I always disliked the 6x4.5 concept and feel much closer to the 6x6, but always hate the short rolls... I'm all 35mm now

Dave, You still have my 6x7 dinosaur, maybe a 20x24" view camera's what you really need...and didn't I sing songs about the merits of HP5?
