42nd Street, 1995

42nd

Well at least in this shot I can definitely say it was 1995. I'm not sure if you can still walk on the Pershing overpass these days with a tripod without being swarmed on by security. Even back then it was a little iffy as there is a very narrow curb and the cars are zipping around behind you. I remember one leg of the tripod had to be stuck through the railing.

I like the 3 Chevy Impalas, which were the last affordable & reliable full size car made in America. Are your images growing even further?

Matt -- isn't the Crown Victoria American?

No - 800 pixels is the limit for now. (I love my new "old" 19 inch monitor) which now has "two" horizontal blank lines. I think that in a month or so I may have half blank scan lines and half visible CRT bursts :)

Jeff - fascinating. That's what I have - exactly. I picked up the monitor for free the other day from someone who was upgrading. It is a Sony Trinitron. Great contrast etc. but I didn't know they all had the lines. It was just funny because when I first saw the line I tried to healing brush it out (to no avail).
