Protecting the camera in the rain? I didn't know it was going to rain when I went out in my tee shirt and shorts.
I stood under an awning. It was still raining when I ran out of film. Stuck the camera under my tee shirt and went to the local deli where they gave me some paper towels to dry off.
In general I don't treat the cameras all that well. If it's snowing, I keep it under my coat - or in a bag - but take it out to shoot if I see something worthwhile.
You can't really use an umbrella in a storm like this since it's blowing all over the place.
